Bedhead Look For Fine Hair - Is Sea Salt Spray Good?

I've recently had my hair cut short very similar to Jessica Stroup's at the Young Hollywood Awards. However, I really want to achieve this bedhead look of hers, but as my hair is fine I'm not sure which products to use? Would sea salt spray be any good? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

When using sea salt spray to style your hair, remember two things: 1) Avoid scalp and do not use too much, otherwise it become sticky and oily.
I tried sea salt-and it does help with volume but made my hair quite frizzy and felt dirty and turned greasy quite quickly. I tend to use a touch of mousse, sometimes clay and turn head upside down and add spray which all help me.
I heard so much about sea salt spray for creating tousle or wavy beach look. I had to try! They are fantastic but some hair types might get too rough and dry when using it. On mine work just fine and I have medium fine hair, but it feels greasy and dirty when I use much. I use Bumble Bumble surf spray which got Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salts) rather than true sea salt. The smell is strange but don't bother me.
