Caramel highlight on top of black hair

I would like to have a few caramel foils done on top of my hair . I have dark brown nearly black hair all over and I have grey roots on to of my hair and around my hair line. When I use the dark hair dye it never really takes to well on my roots and the grey comes through so quickly. I would like to have a few caramel or golden highlights just on the top.. Is there anything I can use to achieve this look please
