Light Brunette Red Blonde - What Colour to Go?

Hair at the moment
I currently have light brown hair and feel it doesn't do much for me plus I would like a change but I'm not to sure what colour i should go (lighter, darker) etc my hair colour at the moment is a dark blonde some say light brunette, just say in between.
I'm hopefully getting my hair cut like Taylor Momsen but if you have a better suggestion please say and of course help me pick a colour.

Taylor Momsen mostly wearing extension and she ditch her short appearance. She also more to blond than any other color. Cut and colors goes together hand in hand. For your face shape, I suggest you choose a style that is fuller at ends like textured or wavy bob!? and/or also a side-swept layer could be great option. For the color, I think you should darken your current color with one level or get a color-touch to refresh your old color.
