Recovering from Coppola Keratin Treatment Hair-loss

I had the Coppola Keratin Express treatment done four months ago in July. My hairdresser sold me on it when I went in for a trim. She said it was essentially a healthy protein treatment that could only do my hair good. She said I was the perfect candidate.

I have long soft frizzy waves and medium in thickness. It cost me 125 plus 40 for the Coppola sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. I went home and waited 2 days to wash my hair.

After the first wash I loved it. I was amazed how frizz-free it was. But then after a couple of weeks it started falling out in clumps each time I washed it... along with heavy shedding (falling out from follicle). Now, my hair has always shed, but this was an unusually large amount of loss in a very short time. I would say I lost about a 3rd of my hair in a matter of 2.5 weeks. Needless to say, I was devastated.

After 3 weeks of tremendous hairloss, I went to my Dr. because I thought I had a hormone/thyroid condition. She commented how very thin my hair had become and was concerned. Test came back fine. I am very healthy. So searched on the Internet and found posts like this and realized I made a huge mistake.

Prior to the Coppola Keratin Treatment, I had just started using WEN cleansing conditioner. I have to say, I loved the product while I was using it and noticed a huge improvement in my hair. I only stopped using it because, well, I thought the Coppola treatment would surpass it.

So, Right away, I took the WEN out and threw away the last of the Coppola shampoo/conditioner. After 2 shampoos with WEN, my hair suddenly stopped falling out...and I am not exaggerating in the least. I have continued to use the WEN exclusively and i have new growth popping out ALL over my head and can feel my thickness coming back. This is a fantastic product and has truly saved my hair from the damage Coppola did.

I am not on here to sell WEN... I am just a woman who experienced the same devastation of hairloss on my otherwise perfectly healthy head of hair due to CKT and have found a product that has helped my hair recover without having to get steroid treatments and such. I am not saying WEN is for everyone, but it has been a true miracle for me.
