Rock Your Hair into Textured Quiff
When you need to give your hair a new edgier touch, try adding a textured quiff. You can re-create the 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll, 80s puncked-up style or opt for a more subtle look like Jennifer Lawrence's slick back style or Kate Winslet's sexy do.
Looks and Variations
This textured slick back look was sported by Jennifer Lawrence during "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" Premiere in London right after she chopped all her hair and opted for a short crop with longer side fringe. You can also create this look by applying medium hold gel to a wide-toothed comb and work it evenly through your hair and then run your finger afterwards through sides and top to make the final touches.

Coco Rocha rocked her new short hair with a quiff style and her fashion look with Fausto Puglisi leather jacket.

How to Get the Look
Shampoo but don't condition the hair for best result. Create the base of your style by applying high volume mousse to damp hair and blow-dry. If your hair suffer from frizz or you got fine hair, rub some essential oil in palm of your hand and work it into hair and make a few pass of hot iron on low setting to seal it in. Next, backcomb the top section of hair and then use shaping wax or strong hold styling cream/gel. Final touch is holding spray and shine to fix your style.
